As one of our larger projects, our clients wanted to create a living space for two families who had been brought together by marriage. We were tasked with creating designs to transform an existing three bedroom property into a five bedroom home. This included a larger living area on the ground floor to accommodate the additional people. We also developed a side extension to extend the ground floor, adding in a new bedroom and en-suite. A larger family bathroom was also created to the front of the property on the ground floor. Upstairs, two new bedrooms were created with large dormers at the front and back of the property. Our architects in Troon created a side extension which effectively blended in with the original property. The rear extension was a contemporary flat roof construction with white render and western red cedar cladding.
