This Allison Architects Cambuslang Cambuslang is our fourth extension in this area.
Our clients came across Allison Architects because they have heard about us and our projects that we have worked on in other areas of Glasgow.
Our Glasgow architects worked with a client who was desperate for a new insulated kitchen area as the existing space was a small lean to extension constructed in the 1950s with a concrete floor and very little heating.
The client asked us to create a single storey house extension which would include a large, open plan kitchen diner and a new utility room.
Using the ideas from the client, we aimed to create a large open plan space with bi fold windows which opened out onto the garden area. The new rear entrance to the property would function as a cloakroom area with plenty of room to store coats, shoes and other items and there would be a utility area built opposite.
Allison Architects are Glasgow Architects with a wealth of experience in high quality domestic architecture in the Cambuslang and Burnside area.
We decided to opt for a traditional slate roof which worked well with the existing design of the property and included a wet dab render and glazed brick walls along with a wall of smooth faced red brick to the side of the utility/cloakroom area which reflected the traditional red bricks on the garden walls leading down to a Victorian garage area.
