John Foster MCIAT

John is a Director and our highly experienced Chartered Technologist. He is responsible for the day to day running of the drawing office, projects, client care and business development.

Being a chartered technologist, John likes nothing more than to get into the technical aspects of a project and oversees the technical work produced by the team.

He studied Architecture at The MacIntosh School of Architecture before becoming a Technologist and going on to become a Member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists in 2006

Joining Allison Architects in 2018, John brought over 30 years experience in the residential, industrial, retail, commercial, leisure and domestic sectors with him having experience of working in Scotland, England and Northern Ireland.

He has worked for some of the leading architectural practices in Glasgow gaining extensive knowledge of the Industrial, Retail, Commercial, Defence and Residential markets.

John is a father of two and our resident rugby fanatic. He lives with his family at their home in East Dunbartonshire.
