Office Interior Design- Allison Architects Glasgow

Our latest Glasgow office interior design for QUIZ Clothing is our latest in Glasgow. Architects

Our office interior designers in Glasgow are now proud to announce its completion.

This is Allison Architecture’s fourth Glasgow office interior design.

Quiz’s head office is based in the old Bilsland Bakery Building on the North side of the Clyde.

Quiz recently floated the company and has since expanded rapidly requiring a new space for an additional 80 staff.

Brief

It was decided that the Marketing, Social Media, E-Commerce, Customer Care and IT divisions would be relocated to the the 2nd floor.

The 2nd Floor would undergo a full fit out to transform the space from an empty shell into a dynamic space.

The space would consisting of open plan office workspace for upto 80 staff, cellular office spaces for the directors.

There will be a mixture of meeting spaces from the new board room to flexible spaces with varying levels of privacy.

Meeting spaces behind glass partitioning cater for more private (or noisy) meetings for upto 10 people.

Semi private coves allow for ad hoc break out meetings with interactive screens for stat checks and presentations.

Our pods provide highly soundproofed spaces for one to two people to be able to work in a quiet space free from distraction.

The Concept

The driving concept for our latest office interior design in Glasgow was the ‘runway/catwalk’.

We wanted there to be a main processional route through the space from the entrance to the board room.

Visitors would take this processional route along our runway at all times catching glimpses between office and pods.

The runway could be a catwalk for events such as fashion shows where bloggers and press would be invited .

The big idea was to give the staff a feeling of being truly embedded in the fashion industry. To really feel like key players and like a global brand.

We want to give employees the feeling that they have really achieved their dream of a career in the fashion industry.

Movement through space stimulating movement of thoughts and inspiration. The variety of spatial experience provoking fresh and innovative insight.

The office interior design in Glasgow, furniture and finishes really had to capture the DNA of the brand. This doesn’t mean that they should look like the store.

Our office interior design in Glasgow has a very different function from the stores but is has to feel related by picking up on the brand essence.
