Glasgow architects, Allison Architecture are Townhouse Conversion Experts. We  were asked again by Douglas Dickson Developments Ltd. to provide full architectural services for the conversion of this traditional townhouse in the Kelvingrove Park area of Glasgow’s West End.

Our Glasgow architects were engaged to carry out design work for our latest townhouse conversion project in Glasgow. 

The category B Listed building was in a good state of repair so developing designs for conversion into upper and lower duplexes was a simple process.

Armed with considerable experience in townhouse conversion design our Glasgow architects found that obtaining Planning Permission, Listed Buildings Consent and Building Warrant to be a simple and straight forward process.

The Townhouse Conversion concept was to split the townhouse into two luxury duplex units. Our Glasgow Architects developed plans to create a lower duplex unit with main access from the lower ground level.

The front door opens into a generous hallway on the lower level. the Bedrooms and main bathroom are located on this level.

The duplex then boasts a new staircase up to the kitchen diner on the ground floor with a frameless glass balustrade.

On the Ground Floor our Glasgow Architects located the spacious kitchen diner to the rear of the townhouse conversion and this then opened into the large living room to the front of the property.

The Upper duplex of the townhouse conversion has exclusive use of the main front door and stunning period hallway and stone stair.

The large living room and kitchen diner are located on the First Floor with spacious bedrooms on the Second Floor.

The project is now complete and both units sold.
