The Brief

Glasgow Architects, Allison Architecture were asked to create a design for a two bedroom mews house design in Glasgow West End.

Project Overview

Our Architects in Glasgow worked with the client to develop a mews design which would provide an off street parking space, two similarly sized double bedrooms and a living/kitchen/dining space.

We developed a design in a grey brick, western red cedar cladding and zinc to the side dormers to give a classic contemporary feel. The gable fronted design echoes the forms of the other buildings on the lane frontage.

Throughout the design process our Glasgow architects worked closely with the client and Glasgow City Council Planning Department to develop a scheme which would work in terms of Planning Policy, cost effectiveness as well as trying to create a beautiful building.
